アニメーターだった頃に机が近くて、少しだけお話したり仕事を見てもらったことがあったのを思い出す。
とても気さくで良い人だった。

Kohno aveva riportato un attacco epilettico e una ferita un paio di mesi fa.
Si è diplomato alla Miyajima Technical High School e ha lavorato presso diversi studi di anime, come Ashi Productions, AIC e ufotable.
Kohno è stato il character designer di Magical Girl Pretty Sammy e Magical Canan. È stato animatore per numerosi anime, tra cui Bleach, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Berserk: The Golden Age Arc III – The Advent, Magical Girl Pretty Sammy, Tenchi Forever! The Movie, Martian Successor Nadesico: The Motion Picture – Prince of Darkness, Dancougar – Super Beast Machine God, Queen’s Blade: Beautiful Warriors e Shangri-La.
È stato anche direttore dell’animazione di Bleach the Movie: Memories of Nobody, Ah! My Goddess: The Movie, Tenchi Muyo GXP, Magical Canan, Battle Athletes Victory, Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu, Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure e God Mars: Untold Legend.
