La cerimonia dei Golden Joystick Awards 2022 ha annunciato mercoledì i vincitori di quest’anno e il gioco di ruolo d’azione Elden Ring di Bandai Namco Entertainment e FromSoftware ha vinto quattro premi. Il gioco si è aggiudicato i premi per il miglior design visivo, il miglior gioco multiplayer, i premi della critica e l’Ultimate Game of the Year.

FromSoftware ha vinto anche il premio come Studio dell’anno.
Inoltre, Final Fantasy XIV ha vinto il premio per il miglior gioco della community, Pokémon Legends Arceus ha vinto il premio per il gioco Nintendo dell’anno e Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ha vinto il premio per il Most Wanted Game.

Resident Evil Village di Capcom ha vinto quattro premi ai Golden Joystick Awards 2021, tra cui Ultimate Game of the Year, PlayStation Game of the Year e Best Audio. Maggie Robertson ha vinto il premio come miglior interprete per la sua interpretazione di Lady Dimitrescu nel gioco. Inoltre, Final Fantasy XIV ha vinto il premio per la migliore community di gioco e per il gioco ancora in corso, PlayStation 5 ha vinto il premio per il miglior hardware di gioco e Metroid Dread ha vinto il premio per il gioco Nintendo dell’anno. Elden Ring ha vinto il premio per il gioco più ricercato e Dark Souls ha vinto il premio per il gioco definitivo di tutti i tempi.
