Il 5 dicembre il sito ufficiale del Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2023 (TAAF2023) ha annunciato i risultati della votazione “Everyone’s Choice Best 100” per l’Anime of the Year (Animazione dell’anno).
Come previsto, Dropkick on My Devil!!! X, la terza stagione dell’anime Dropkick on My Devil!, ha conquistato il primo posto nella categoria delle serie TV. Nel frattempo, Uta no Prince-sama The Movie: Maji LOVE ST☆RISH TOURS, il secondo film concerto della serie Uta no Prince-sama, si è classificato al primo posto nella categoria dei lungometraggi.
L’Anime of the Year è composto da tre categorie: miglior film (lungometraggi e serie TV), premio individuale e premio per i fan degli anime. Tra le 411 opere pubblicate o trasmesse in Giappone nell’anno fiscale 2022 (dal 1º ottobre 2021 al 30 settembre 2022), i fan votano prima le loro 100 opere preferite come “Everyone’s Choice Best 100”. In seguito, i vincitori delle tre categorie saranno determinati tra queste 100 opere.
Il numero totale di voti espressi è stato di 75.828. Poiché due opere hanno ricevuto lo stesso numero di voti, 101 opere sono state ammesse al concorso di quest’anno. Tra le 101 opere selezionate, l’Anime Fan Award sarà nuovamente votato dai fan. L’inizio delle votazioni per l’Anime Fan Award è previsto per il 6 gennaio 2023. Nel frattempo, i vincitori della categoria Miglior Film saranno votati dai professionisti dell’industria degli anime.
