Bushiroad Games ha aperto un account Twitter per il suo prossimo gioco Macross Shooting Insight. L’account Twitter ha rivelato la storia del gioco, conferma che il gioco sarà lanciato quest’anno e aggiunge la PlayStation 5 alle piattaforme supportate.
L’account Twitter contiene l’introduzione alla storia sia in inglese che in giapponese, ma non dichiara ancora se il gioco sarà pubblicato in inglese.

Oltre che per PS5, il gioco verrà lanciato anche per PlayStation 4, Switch e PC tramite Steam.
Bushiroad Games ha descritto il gioco come un “nuovo tipo di sparatutto a scorrimento”. Bushiroad Games è la nuova etichetta di giochi di Bushiroad, che integra anche la divisione giochi per cellulari di Bushimo. Bushiroad ha acquisito una partecipazione di controllo del 50,625% in Frontwing Lab, la società madre di Frontwing, nel marzo 2021.
Il più recente gioco in scatola per il franchise Macross è stato Macross Delta Scramble, lanciato per PlayStation Vita nell’ottobre 2016.
Il gioco ritmico per smartphone Uta Macross Sumaho De Culture è stato lanciato nell’agosto 2017 e ha terminato il servizio nel giugno 2022.
